Dr. Dean Brown is a Rogue Valley native.  While growing up, he spent many hours at Brown’s Ace Hardware in Central Point, which was owned and operated by his parents.  While attending Crater High School, he enjoyed football, basketball and track.  He attended Southern Oregon University, followed by Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon - earning his doctorate.

Dr. Brown opened Central Point Eyecare in 1996.  Over the past 20 years, he has thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with many wonderful patients and families. He prides himself in giving quality eye care.

Dr. Brown and his wife, Terri, have four children and seven grandchildren.  They love spending time with their four grandsons and three granddaughters - and spend many hours pushing  them on the swings or taking adventures to the creek. Dr. Brown also enjoys being in the great outdoors -  hiking, biking, camping, fishing, or hunting.
